For qualifying township residents, the Elm Grove Township Office provides occasional emergency assistance (rent or utility assistance to people who have encountered an unforeseen situation) and general assistance/relief (small monthly stipend to those who are not receiving other public benefit income--for example--SSI, SSDI, other Social Security and are unable to work). Elm Grove Township is located between Pekin and Tremont. Please note that the general assistance/relief for Elm Grove Township is administered by the Groveland Township Office (173 Washington Street in Groveland).
