Eligibility
*Residence must be in Tazewell or Woodford County.
*Must have an eviction notice, be homeless, or be in a domestic violence or similar situation.
*Must have income to make sure person can afford to pay rent, utilities, and living expenses.
Must have had some type of emergency that required use of rent money (medical expense they paid for, car repairs, off work due to medical, etc.)
Except for good cause, a family may have a housing payment made once every two calendar years.
In case of an extended family or where a boyfriend or girlfriend may be in the household, staff may take take two applications rather than one application if all persons are eligible for services.
