Established in 1965, the mission of Tri-County Urban League, Inc. is to advance the regional economy and quality of life in Central Illinois by promoting education and improving the employability skills, self-sufficiency, and social well-being of African Americans and people in need. For over 50 years, the agency has been operating and delivering services to economically and socially deprived individuals in the Peoria area. The agency thrives on improving the quality of opportunities to enable disadvantaged individuals to reach their educational and employment goals.
Neighborhood House Association, established in 1896, is dedicated to providing a Safe Haven with comprehensive services that meet the social, emotional, and material needs of individuals and families from infancy to their senior years.
The After School Program provides schoolwork support and tutoring in a positive, nurturing environment.
Pearce Community Center offers after school tutoring services.
